The Browns are expected to sign former Ohio State and 49ers running back Carlos Hyde to a three-year, $15 million deal. Hyde ran for 940 yards with eight touchdowns last year. The Cleveland Browns agreed to sign offensive lineman Chris Hubbard, who played the last four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hubbard, who was Pittsburgh’s sixth offensive lineman, has mainly played right tackle. The Browns also will add ex Broncos offensive lineman Donald Stephenson, primarily as a depth player. And the Browns agreed to sign defensive lineman Chris Smith, who played last season with the Bengals. Free agency officially starts today at 4 p.m.
