The Indians scored two runs on a controversial bases-loaded wild pitch by David Paulino in the third inning that led to the ejection of Houston manager A.J. Hinch.  Cleveland topped the Astros 10-7.  The Indians are now 6 games up in the AL Central.

 

Houston tops Cleveland, 6-2

Rookie Alex Bregman hit a two-run homer and Houston ended Cleveland’s six-game winning streak by beating the Indians 6-2.  Detroit beat the White Sox, to the Indians are 4 ½ games up in the AL Central.

 

Cleveland tops Minnesota, 5-4

Francisco Lindor drove in the go-ahead run in the fifth inning and Cleveland extended Minnesota’s losing streak to 12 games with a 5-4 victory.  Detroit won so the Indians remain 4 ½ up in the AL Central.

 

Texas tops Cleveland 2-1

Derek Hollan allowed one run over six inning, new left fielder Carlos Gomez made two highlight-reel catches and Texas topped Cleveland 2-1.  The Angels beat Detroit so the Tribe is 4 ½ up in the AL Central.

 

Indians shutout by Rangers, 9-0

Cole Hamels allowed only two singles over eight innings and Carlos Gomez hit a three-run homer as the Rangers shutout the Indians 9-0.  Detroit beat Minnesota so the Cleveland is now 4 ½ games up in the AL Central.
