Evgeni Malkin, Scott Wilson and Patric Hornqvist scored third period goals as the Penguins rallied past the Sharks 3-2.  Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 32 shots for the Pens, who visit Nashville tomorrow night.

 

Colorado tops Pittsburgh in OT, 4-3

Gabriel Landeskog redirected a shot by Nathan McKinnon past Marc-Andre Fleury 22 seconds into overtime to lift Colorado by Pittsburgh 4-3.  Pittsburgh visits Montreal tonight.  Join 106.3 The River and the Trinity Health System stream at 7 for the pregame.

 

Pens will raise Cup tonight in season-opener

The Pittsburgh Penguins will raise the 2016 Stanley Cup Championship banner before tonight’s season-opener against the Washington Capitals at PPG Paints Arena.  The ceremony will include a video tribute to the Pens’ championship season and individual player introductions.  Catch all the action on 106.3 The River and the Trinity Health System Stream beginning at 7:30 for the pregame.

 

Crosby out with concussion

Sidney Crosby skated yesterday, one day after the Pens’ captain was diagnosed with a concussion.  Crosby suffered the concussion Friday during practice.  He said he’s not rushing the process and approaching it day to day.
