Buckeye Local topped Edison 78-68. Matthew Carducci scored 24 points, Sean Millard 23 and Drake Novak 21 for the Panthers. Bryce Piatt led the Wildcats with 19 points. Connor Hyndman had 15 for Edison, while Zac Kramarich and Joey Nave added 10 each for Edison.

NHL players are concerned about ice conditions around the league. The league and the players association initiated a project to resolve ice-condition issues. Players and on-ice officials are asked to fill out a one-page form after every game in order to rate the ice.
